The Face of the Moon: Gallileo to Apollo, An Exhibit of Rare Books and Maps from the Collection of the Linda Hall Library
Welcome to: The Face of the Moon: Galileo to Apollo
An Exhibit of Rare Books and Maps from the Collection of the Linda Hall Library
We have prepared an online version of an exhibition catalog that was originally published in 1989. The catalog was written by William B. Ashworth, Jr and it won the First Place Award in the annual competition sponsored by the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries. Copies of the printed catalog are still available.
For this online version, several minor errors have been corrected; otherwise, it follows the format of the printed version. However, the addition of the many hypertext links makes it possible to browse the catalog in an entirely new way. We hope you enjoy it.
